I decided I wanted to go into art after I took a watercolor class at SLCC Fall 2007. This is my final for that class. The project was to copy another artists work, trying to use the same techniques the original artist used. This is a copy of Marlies Merk Najaka "Morning".
I did the same thing with the little girl and cat.

I just wanted to say that this looks great. The most important building block is knowing how to draw the image on the paper, and you really excelled in this picture. Technique and color and all that builds on this, so I'm excited to see more of what you do.
